I just recently stumbled across this band. I am not a huge metal fan, but find that sometimes you just need that surge of adrenaline. Trail of Tears' music seems to do the trick. I was curious however to the name Trail of Tears. I am part Cherokee Native American and was wondering if the name possibly had anything to do with that. Any info would be great.

Thanks for the kind words! The name is loosely based on the Cherokee Trail of Tears due to our previous guitarist`s interest in Native American history and culture, however the name was chosen to reflect the sorrow and melancholy incorporated in the music at the time.

My favorite album is "Disclosure in red", and in my opinion Helena Michaelsen is the best female vocal in this music.

"Feel free to speak your mind?" Then I wonder why did you not approve my last comment, where I wrote about the great "Bloodstained endurance", but also about the older albums. The only thing I said was that I didn´t find anything special in the other CDs, was it really soooo offensive, guys?

P.S. Sorry for my bad english. I do my best.

Not offensive at all! Speak your mind. Due to a busy schedule lately, the last few entries have not been posted.
Always cool to get feedback on our music, so thanks:)

I just listened once "Profoundemonium" and "A new dimension of might" but never really liked it. I didn´t pay attention to the next two albums, but now with Bloodstained Endurance" I´m very very haunted. There´s something awesome and magical about that CD that simply blows my mind. Killer album guys.
